You can transfer files to or from Flaum Technologies via our FTP folder. The connection
procedure depends on the software you use, as follows.
To use
Internet Explorer 6 or 8
or Netscape

You may be prompted for security credentials. The user name is public@commissioncalc.com and the password is public.
To use
Internet Explorer 7

to open the FTP root. Then click Page / Open FTP Site in Windows Explorer. Because IE7 requires a password, which you have not yet
entered, this will pop up an error message. Click OK. Then select File / Login As. The user name and password are
public@commissioncalc.com and public respectively.
Warning: You may find that Internet Explorer 7's security procedure makes logging on confusing, but it does work reliably if you respond to the
error message as described above.
To use a dedicated FTP client or other software

enter the settings shown below. The password is public. These values are
case sensitive.
Examples of dedicated FTP clients are
SmartFTP (which is a comercial product with a free trial version),
FileZilla (which is free software), or (if you use Firefox)
fireFTP (also free).
Since our FTP folder is
open to the public, please encrypt any confidential information before uploading it. The encryption in
WinZip is the most common way to do this. Also, please contact us
when you want us to download a file.
